Summer

Our summer Pre-College Programs are geared specifically to high school students. These two programs—Portfolio Plus (art) and Architecture Discovery Program—give students the opportunity to develop skills that are fundamental to the fields of architecture, art, and design while producing work in a real studio.

The Alberti Program-Architecture for Young People allows St. Louis students ages 8-15 to explore architecture and design through hands-on learning. This tuition-free program operates as a day camp in the summer; students from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds take part each year.

The Sam Fox School also sponsors several summer international programs, including the Florence Summer Program, whcih provides all WashU students and students from other universities the opportunity to study art, architecture, or design in Italy.
