About the Office for Socially Engaged Practice

The Office for Socially Engaged Practice is a hub and a resource to support collaborative, socially engaged practices of art, architecture, and design. Through this support, we will fulfill our institutional responsibility to citizens and communities here in St. Louis and around the world.

The Office for Socially Engaged Practice was founded in 2014 with three specific goals:
Elevate and sustain existing and emerging community collaborations.
- Provide every member of the Sam Fox community opportunities to participate in socially engaged work.
- Disseminate research and practice related to socially engaged work.
